To speak with the CCC Plus Helpline for a member, you must have the member’s permission.
If the member is a child, or cannot talk, or isn’t available to give permission, you must say how you are related to the member. You must also give:
- The member’s Medicaid ID number;
- The member’s name, address and phone number; and
- The member’s Social Security number or date of birth.
Health care professionals also need the member’s permission to call the Helpline for the member.
Public guardians and ombudsmen can speak for a member without permission.
